Delivery & Exchange Policy

Shipping Within India

We ship across India. Every Solaura garment is made-to-order and handcrafted at our Chennai-based workshop. Upon receiving your order, we begin production, which typically takes 12–15 business days. Once completed, your product is dispatched and delivered within 5–6 business days.

Please note that the total fulfilment timeline from order confirmation to delivery is approximately 17–21 business days.

A tracking number will be shared with you via email once your order has been dispatched.

If you require time-bound or expedited delivery, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order. Reach out with your order number and expected delivery date, and we will do our best to accommodate your request at an additional express shipping charge, to be quoted at the time of request.

All prices displayed on the Website for domestic deliveries are inclusive of applicable taxes.

We currently ship within India only. International shipping is not available at this time.

Cancellation Policy

As all products are made-to-order and production begins within 24 hours of order confirmation, cancellations are not accepted once production has commenced. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing it at houseofsolaura@gmail.com. Cancellation requests received after this window cannot be accommodated.

Exchange Policy

At Solaura, each piece is custom made, and therefore we do not accept returns under any circumstances.

We only accept exchanges if:

  • The product delivered is defective, or
  • You received an incorrect item.

To initiate an exchange, you must:

  1. Email us at houseofsolaura@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the order.
  2. Provide a clear and continuous unboxing video that shows the defect or incorrect item at the time of opening.

An unboxing video is required as primary evidence to process your exchange request. If an unboxing video is unavailable, alternative photo evidence clearly showing the defect or discrepancy may be submitted at Solaura’s discretion.

Upon approval of your request, we will coordinate with you for the return and dispatch of a replacement item. Return shipping costs for approved defective or incorrect item exchanges will be borne by Solaura.

Exchanges will only be made for the same item or for another item of equal or greater value. If the replacement item is of greater value, the customer will be charged the price difference prior to dispatch.

Solaura reserves the right to refuse an exchange if:

  • The product has been used or damaged after delivery.
  • The original tags and packaging are missing.
  • No evidence (video or photographic) of the defect or incorrect item has been provided.

Please note: Items that have undergone further alterations after delivery, or items purchased during a sale or at a discounted price, are final sale and are not eligible for exchange.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

House of Solaura is not liable for delays or losses caused by the courier partner. However, in the event that your package is lost or arrives damaged in transit, please contact us at houseofsolaura@gmail.com and we will assist you in raising a claim with the shipping carrier.

Force Majeure

House of Solaura shall not be held liable for any delay in production or delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, governmental restrictions, or courier disruptions. In such cases, we will communicate with you promptly and work to fulfil your order at the earliest opportunity.
