Only natural fabrics — primarily linen and cotton. No polyester, no viscose, no synthetic blends. Every fabric is chosen for how it performs in Indian weather: breathable, skin-friendly, and built to last.

Synthetic fabrics trap heat, hold moisture, and often contain chemical residues that irritate skin. Natural fabrics breathe, wick moisture, and improve with every wash. We manufacture at export level — using anything less would defeat the point.

Linen and cotton can have minimal shrinkage on the first wash, which is accounted for in our sizing. Wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C and line dry in shade to maintain fit and colour.

Gentle machine wash at 30°C, mild detergent, no fabric softener, line dry in shade. Avoid direct sunlight when drying. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp for a crisp finish. Full care instructions are included with every order.

We recommend going by your body measurements rather than your usual size label — sizing varies between brands. Each product page has a size guide. If you're unsure, email us before ordering.

Yes — that's the whole point. Height customisation means the length is adjusted for your frame, whether you're 4'10" or 6'0". The garment fits as intended regardless of your height.

Standard delivery across India is 5–7 business days from the date of dispatch. You'll receive a tracking link once your order ships.

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, production begins and cancellations are not possible. Write to us immediately at houseofsolaura@gmail.com if you need to cancel.

Not currently. We're focused on India for now. International shipping is on our roadmap — follow us on Instagram @houseofsolaura to be notified when it's available.

We offer exchanges within 7 days of delivery. Contact us at houseofsolaura@gmail.com within that window with your order details and reason for exchange.

We don't offer cash refunds. For genuine manufacturing defects or quality issues, we will exchange the piece or issue store credit. We stand behind the quality of everything we make.

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and, if possible, an unboxing video. We'll arrange a replacement at no cost. Return shipping for quality issues is covered by us.

Customised pieces are made specifically for you, so standard size-based exchanges don't apply. However, if there is a manufacturing defect or we made an error in the customisation, we will fix it — contact us and we'll sort it out.

All major credit and debit cards, UPI, and net banking via Razorpay. All transactions are secure.

Everything is designed and manufactured in Chennai at Sumathi Garments — our in-house manufacturing unit. We produce for export clients as well, so your order goes through the same quality process as international orders.
